What Happens When You Fear?
Faltering. That’s a big word for people who have been enjoying success and have been building their businesses, careers, relationships… what happens when we falter?
I’d like to take up the idea that we need to know what to do AFTER we falter. Let’s face it - each time you consider mental detox, you need a strict discipline and you need to hang out with people who are constantly on a high to get results with you as well.
But when you falter, the worst thing you can ever do is lose momentum. I know it’s easy for many people to just drop off and think they will never make it (even for that moment) then they wake themselves up and realize that their momentum was lost. Gee.
I catch myself sometimes. Yes, I do lapse into moments of negative thinking, but I do know that keeping myself on my toes keeps me aware of myself enough to catch a negative thought. More importantly, I am aware of myself enough to stop entertaining a negative worry.
Motivational CDS (now MP3s) do help us keep on the go. I’m in the process of creating a few to ensure our motivation is at its peak wherever we go. My plan is to complete this by late March 2005 after I return from my trip in the United States.
