Failure: What’s up with you people?
Coming out from schools where I used to train, I’m not surprised that we encounter the kinds of students we do. Most of them jaded, experiencing failure, low self-esteem… wait a second. Sounds almost like some the participants I have when I first encounter them even in an adult training.
But when parents look at their children, they expect the best. Take a GOOD look at the world today. Do you really think that there are more successful people than unsuccessful ones?
I mean, look at the branding that was created with my company. Which other company has established that kind of branding? how about my internet business? how about my partner? It’s just one of the FEW. I wish more people could be successful. But isn’t is odd that we tell our students to strive for As and succeed in school when we realize that life is about failing?
Life IS about failing. So get over it. It’s never the right time to succeed. It’s always the right time to fail with the right attitude. When you jump out from bed in the morning, and fall flat on your face, just say big deal, because that’s life. It’s better to take the pain with a smile knowing you’re not dead, than to take the pain and hold on to it every day.
Children need to learn that when they experience failure, it ought to drive them to succeed. It is the failing that gives rise to the greatness in people.

hi Stuart, when people attempt yo negatively influence you through exposure of Audio Digital (deceptive negative advice) or Visual External (negative blog comments), how do you fend your mind?

Well.. first thing is to ensure that my mind is firmly attached.
Inside, it’s just a simple thing to experience what I feel and process that for a moment. I then realize what’s important to me, hold on to that, then proceed to seek a higher understanding of the other person’s intentions.
At the end of the day, I know that there will be much more than just anger or frustration. I also like to put myself into a playful mode - that helps me take things with a pinch of salt.

People are always impatient to succeed. Because the people in this society is an impatient bunch. To live in this time and era, one has to change oneself in order to suit the society. Yet time is necessary in order to overcome failures. I feel that no one is willing to spend more time than money to deal with them. A person would see life in two directions. Winning or Losing. One can do the right or wrong thing to win. It is obvious that one can lose doing the wrong thing. Yet one can do the right thing yet lose.
So which is more important, Winning or Losing. If you are doing well, the former is yours. The opposite applies for the latter condition.
Rather than to be talking about failures leading to greatness, teach these losers what they can do to change their lives around. People are an impatient bunch. Theories are only for the winners. Practical works better to losers.
