I just had a lunch meeting with the dynamic Ron Kaufman who specializes in customer service training. Ron is a high-energy live-wire who thinks at a hundred miles an hour, and is one of the most creative minds I know.

I discovered a number of interesting things related to the power of leverage in this meeting - it’s about finding a member that fits in with your team. This team may not even be a formal team within an organization. A very powerful revelation that struck me today was the fact that even in a meeting of minds in an informal setting can spark of powerful ideas.

The best thing is this - ideas are free. In creating a lot more opportunities for ideas to be developed, your team leverage becomes usable and effective. Like I mentioned, not everyone has all the abilities he or she requires to be successful. And just when you thought your ability was good, you’d meet up with someone else who happens at the right time to come up with an idea that surpasses even the many years of ability that you trained hard to develop.

I think what Ron has going for himself is a great personality. Vibrant, high-energy and very contagious energy at that. It’s in that approach I think that he has what he has - a highly successful business and a powerful network of fans that just keep wanting to hear from him.
