Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas to everyone, and boy has this year been a crazy one! You don’t know what happened over the Christmas period this year… and when I get a chance, I’ll tell you all about it. For the moment, it’s just a series of thoughts about Christmas.

What is Christmas? It’s a time to look outside so that you can look inside. It’s not unusual that we start something only to leave it off. There are only two things you might discover about yourself – you may think you left it off out of strength or you left it out of weakness. If you think you didn’t do too well with your decisions, it’s important for you to start building good decisions as soon as you can. Don’t give yourself the opportunity to lag in building better decisions right away.

Life is strange – sometimes, with more, you get less. With much less, you get more. And of course, with nothing, you often get everything.

Let me explain. We strive to get more money, income and freedom. The more you chase it, the more you find you can’t get it. Yet, when you don’t chase it, it comes to you naturally because you attracted it. It’s the ‘ol change from inside-out routine that Stephen Covey mentioned so many years ago. But it’s important.

But nothing… nothing is a strange thing. It’s a paradox in itself. Nothing is something, yet you can’t point it out. Heheh… in case you are confused, it’s Christmas! My first gift to you. I’ll have a few more for you over the next few days…

Cheers,

Stuart

p.s. You have to check out what I’ve been up to the last couple of days… www.SpeakingExcellence.com is the brainchild of people who have been begging me to do something wild and zany with technology. So I started… video coaching for public speaking!

p.p.s. There’s more – you don’t know how much I’ve been waiting to do this, but it’s interesting to realize how it works. More posts soon.
