Imperfection: How To Grow

Most people will think that growing is about being perfect. In reality, our imperfections are the key to enabling our growth. Without imperfections, there would not be the human ability to rise from the ashes of our problems and become reborn. Without imperfections, human beings would not be inspired by success of their peers. Without imperfections, living would be too perfect, too calm, too serene.

Some people think that imperfections are a signal of doom and then give up. I see imperfections as symbols of our strength as individuals. They serve to allow us the recognition of our humility and our limitations as human beings, and will give us a signal to learn.

So here are a few questions for you!

What are your imperfections?

How do you perceive those imperfections? Do you beat yourself over them, or do you learn from them?

How many imperfections have you avoided seeing?

How do you confront your imperfections and see it as nothing more than an extension of your self?

Don’t just focus on your strengths.

Acknowledge your imperfections.

Recognize them and learn from them, so that your relative strengths in other areas will make you grow faster, so you can feel grateful about your strengths!
